sheets of vegan puff pastry

cup
almond meal
1/2
cup
maple syrup

tbsp
arrowroot flour
1/2
tsp
vanilla essence
1/2
tsp
almond essence
1/2
tbsp
soy milk to "egg wash"
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Defrost your puff pastry and use a tart tin to cut it into 2 medium size circles.
In a bowl combine the almond meal, vanilla, almond essence, arrowroot flour and maple syrup.
Spread it with a spoon over the base then top with another layer of puff pastry.
Fold the edges over then brush a little bit of soy milk over the crust and decorate with a knife to make lines.
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until nice and golden.Leave to cool down slightly and eat warm
