Welcome to my website! I am so happy you are here. I hope you will find delicious healthy recipes to make but first let me introduce myself.
I’m Claire. I am 28 years old, I am from France (moved to Australia at 18), I like to take pictures, bake, run, watch Netflix, drink wine and write lists!
I love being in the kitchen and it is my happy place. I like having Healthyfrenchwife to be able to get my creativity flowing and sharing my healthy recipes with you.
I am also a twin mum (Eloise and James are my crazy cute cheeky toddlers – currently 2 years old) and studying a Master of Human Nutrition while also trying to be a good wife to my hubby Michael.
We now live in Orange, NSW, moved from Perth in September 2017. We like the region so far and even more so the local wines!
My favourite recipes to make are cakes and raw treats. I am a chocoholic and coffee addict. I love when my twins go down for their day nap and I finally get to have 5 minutes for myself to enjoy a cup of coffee and a little chocolate or homemade cake.
I started this blog to gather all my own recipes in 2013 just after getting married. I wanted my blog name to include French in it so people would know I was French and Healthy and Wife were also good adjectives to describe myself. I could add twin mum and coffee-addict to my name now but I will stick with that name!
Since then, I’ve published two ebooks and I am currently working on different projects and I love creating new recipes and collaborating with companies. I’m grateful this little hobby of mine is becoming a little bit more now that I am a stay-at-home mum.
I am all about healthy recipes that are vegan but also lower in fat and sugar than normal recipes. I want to create cakes that make me feel good and that are good for me while also being delicious and kid-friendly! It seems a bit too ambitious and I do have fails in the kitchen but the recipes that work are definitely keepers!
The aim of my blog is to show how easy, simple and delicious healthy recipes can be. All my recipes are now vegan since I have made the switch to vegan eating in June 2016.
